The group and the company were built with a core purpose to transform our increasing spheres of influence and improve the quality of life by building institutions that provide access to better opportunities to more people, all the time. In the last 10 years, Mangal industries has experienced a significant growth, marked by robust financial performance and expansion into new markets by aligning to his vision.
We have recorded~ Rs 1,350 crores by revenue by March 2025, post divestment of plastics division’s stake, with an 8% PBT, showcasing our resilience and strategic quality.
Mangal Industries is predominantly a design-led manufacturing firm and is part of the $2 billion Amara Raja Group. Founded in 1990, the company is an internationally renowned evolving design-led manufacturing company that delivers quality and innovative solutions to diverse markets and applications especially in Component Solutions.

Solar Railings: A standout example is our collaboration with a leading global solar panel manufacturer, for whom we developed a state-of-the-art fabrication facility to produce precision-engineered solar mounting rails. This greenfield setup—executed in record time—features advanced roll forming, punching, and surface treatment capabilities tailored to the client’s evolving product architecture and export requirements

Its traditional strength lies in robust, integrated production processes—ranging from forging and wire processing to surface treatment—underpinned by rigorous quality systems like Poka-Yoke, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
Building on this foundation, we have adopted smart manufacturing practices and state of art machinery such as fibre laser cutting, robotic welding, CNC machining, and SCADA-enabled monitoring to boost productivity, consistency, and control. The integration of automation and digital workflows extends across operations, enhancing both speed and accuracy.
digital-first capability, paired with a flexible manufacturing setup, allows Mangal to efficiently scale and adapt to diverse sectors including renewable energy, metro rail, and industrial applications. Sustainability is becoming non-negotiable. What initiatives has Mangal Industries taken towards sustainable manufacturing practices?
In FY24, the company commissioned a 1 MW rooftop solar plant, raising its renewable energy share to 22%, with a target of 28% next year. This shift, alongside energy optimization projects, led to a 28% drop in carbon intensity and a 15% reduction in energy usage. We also follow ISO 14001:2015 standards for water stewardship, and has cut landfill waste by 50%, with a clear roadmap toward zero landfill and 100% recycled raw materials in lead-based production.
Digital tools play a key role in tracking sustainability performance. Real-time monitoring systems for energy and water use, along with ESG-focused MIS dashboards, enable data-driven decisions and continuous improvement. We’re strengthening local supplier ecosystems and reducing import dependency, especially in precision components, tooling, and automation—supporting India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision.
On the green manufacturing front, we’ve already commissioned a 1 MW rooftop solar plant, increased renewable energy usage to 22%, and reduced carbon intensity by 28% in FY24. With a goal to reach 100% recyclable inputs in lead-based production and near-zero landfill, sustainability is embedded in our growth roadmap.
