IMECE India 2026: Advancing Engineering Innovation, Manufacturing, Digitalization and Industry Collaboration

ASME India is a wholly owned subsidiary of The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, USA and is actively expanding initiatives around engineering standards awareness, advanced manufacturing, workforce upskilling, and holistic professional development for engineers across industry and academia.

ASME’s International Mechanical Engineering Congress & Exposition (IMECE) is a premier global platform where leaders from academia, industry, and government connect to share insights and drive innovation across engineering disciplines. Held annually in the USA since 1996, it is ASME’s flagship event.

IMECE INDIA was organised for the first time from 10–13 September 2025 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, with over 1,800 participants from sectors such as Energy, Aerostructures and Materials, Thermal Sciences, Industrial Automation & Robotics, CleanTech, Oil & Gas,Turbomachinery, Additive Manufacturing, , Healthcare, and government research and leading academic institutions. The event featured technical paper presentations and industry case studies across 11 technical tracks covering emerging and advanced engineering domains.

The conference also hosted five parallel conclaves, including Women in Engineering, MSMEs, Hardware Startups for Social Impact, Mechanical Engineering Education, and Student Design Hackathons, along with 50+ exhibitors.

We look forward to welcoming you to IMECE INDIA 2026, scheduled to be held in Chennai from 3–5 September 2026.
